Portion of South Fifth Street closure extended

UPDATE: The city reported Tuesday afternoon that the closure will be extended until 3 p.m. Wednesday.
QUINCY (WGEM) - Quincy Central Services announced that South Fifth Street, from Maine Street to Jersey Street, will be closed on Tuesday due to repairs on a water main break.
The closure starts at 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Drivers are being advised to find an alternate route.
