Deputy saves kitten with chicken drumstick

HALL COUNTY, Ga. (CNN) - A Georgia deputy saved a kitten from an engine with a chicken drumstick as bait.

Hall County Deputy Nick Jackson responded after a woman reported hearing meowing coming from her engine.

She managed to rescue two kittens hiding near the transmission, but a third one was stuck.

Fortunately, she had a chicken drumstick in her car, which Jackson used as bait, and it worked.

The woman told the deputy she had no idea where the kittens came from.
